Accessible denture care meets digital innovation

Patients benefit from faster turnaround times, mobile services, and advanced digital technology

Parada Denture Clinic has been providing denture and implant denture services to Guelph, Fergus, and the surrounding area for almost 15 years. The clinic has earned a reputation as a trusted source for quality care, working closely with dentists and oral surgeons to ensure patients receive the best possible treatment.

Parada Dentures also collaborates with Ontario Seniors Dental Care Programs, Wellington County’s OW and ODSP programs, and the new federal Canadian Dental Care Plan (CDCP), in addition to working with all private insurance providers. The clinic’s team believes finding a reliable provider is as important as trusting a mechanic with the care and maintenance of your car. With many providers to choose from, Parada Dentures strives to offer patients the options and solutions that best fit their needs.

Patients are asked to allow extra time when booking their first appointment, as the clinic places a priority on valuable care over rushed care.

“Many patients come to us for repair solutions because we can provide faster turnaround times and handle emergencies,” said Franklin Parada, denturist and owner of Parada Dentures. “We make sure repairs are done in a timely fashion—often the same day.”

Investing in Digital Care

In recent years, Parada has guided the clinic toward more digital solutions, including the purchase of an intraoral scanner.

“For patients with loose teeth or a sensitive gag reflex, we offer digital impressions,” Parada explained. “Even those with existing full dentures can benefit—new digital dentures can often be completed in as little as two appointments. Not only do digitally milled dentures far exceed the quality of printed dentures, but the data is saved. If a patient loses their dentures while traveling anywhere in the world, we can quickly mill a replacement.”

All cast partials at Parada Dentures are also digitally designed and printed, resulting in frames that are more accurate and stronger.

“It’s still one of my personal favourite services to provide,” Parada added.

Expanding Access to Care

In addition to its Guelph office, Parada Dentures operates two other locations: 749 St. Andrew St. W. in Fergus, Ont., and an associate clinic called Charing Cross, located at 47 Charing Cross St. in Brantford, Ont.

For patients with limited mobility or transportation challenges, the clinic also offers a mobile service covering Guelph and parts of Wellington County.

“Much of the feedback we hear from patients is about our staff,” Parada said. “They often mention how kind and professional the clinicians are, and how welcoming the front desk staff is. That consistency of care makes a difference.”
